sjs gallery is known for its great shows, big street windows letting the brightness shine in and a lovely open modern space for exhibiting.

We now also have an amazing new artwork that spans the whole side of our building which is 25 metres long thanks to a bunch of great well known street artists including Jak Rapmund, Petite Mort, Mupz, Irk, Acorn, Dirty, Roman, Baler, Nate Gamble.

Come down and check out this great new wall of art that is located on young st, fitzroy (on the fitzroy pool side of the building).

Shabana Jacobson Studios and Gallery is a unique artist studio complex in the heart of Fitzroy. Founded in July 2009 by artist Shabana Jacobson, SJS Gallery consists of 12 artist studio spaces in the rear warehouse covering all mediums, and a double shopfront gallery, directed by Shabana herself.

The Gallery houses the artworks and jewellery creations of internationally renowned artist Shabana Jacobson and exhibits artworks by various artists every two weeks, with openings on Friday nights between 6-8pm.
